본 교과목은 데이터베이스 개론 교과목의 지식을 바탕으로, 실제 사회의 업무를 사전에 분석하여 데이터를 모델링하는 방법과 모인 데이터로부터 사후에 새로운 지식을 발굴(마이닝)하는 방법을 모두 이해함으로써, 데이터 기반의 미래 사회에 능동적으로 참여할 수 있는 전문 소양을 기른다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course provides an elementary introduction to database modeling concept, basic guidelines and practice. Students will learn database application environment, database design process and methodology. Also, this course provides the data mining process to extract information from a data set and transform it into an understandable structure for further use.
