현대 사회는 국가 간의 무역, 자본이동 등 국제 교류가 활발히 일어나고 있는 글로벌화된 자본주의 사회이다. 이러한 경제 환경 하에서 세계경제의 흐름을 이해하고 잘 대응하려면 국제거시경제에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 본 과목에서는 개방경제 환경에서의 거시경제학의 이론과 이의 응용에 대하여 학습한다. 특히 본 강좌는 환율과 국제금융시장의 작동원리에 대한 주요 이론과 이슈들에 대해 많은 시간을 할애한다.

The economy has been rapidly globalized nowadays as the volume of international trade and capital movement has been dramatically increased. To cope with the global economic environment, we need to understand how the economics works in the global context. In this course students study theory and its applications on the open economy macroeconomics.
